Soccer Shots offers three core programs to meet the developmental needs of children aged 2-5.  It's way more than just learning the game of soccer.  We aim to build character, skills and confidence while also having a whole lot of FUN. Class levels may be combined depending on enrollment. Children's classes are for ages 4 and up and the child should be comfortable in the water and must be toilet-trained. Instruction will focus on stroke development, endurance, and water safety. (No sign-ups the day lessons begin).Swim Lesson Cancellation PolicyThe safety of our swimmers is of the utmost importance to us. LPRD Pool Managers reserve the right to cancel swim lessons for any reason that puts the safety of the swimmers at risk. In the case of thunderstorms or other inclement weather, when possible, LPRD staff will notify you via email or text of a cancellation at least an hour before the start of the swim lesson.Swim Lesson Make-upsFor weekday lessons, we have built in a make-up day at the end of each two-week session on the last Friday, should a lesson have been canceled during the current session. For Saturday swim lessons, we have built in a make-up day the Sunday immediately after the last Saturday lesson of the session. NOTE: These will be the only designated times for swim lesson make-ups. Make-ups will only be offered for classes canceled by LPRD staff. It was just fun. Now a certified Instructor for 7 years, she brings that same joy to every class. We pride ourselves with providing a trusting, comfortable environment where children are encouraged to develop friendships, gain self-confidence, become independent, and develop more respect for themselves and others.Goal: Greenwood Day Camp's goal is to provide children with a safe, secure, and fun environment throughout the summer. Lessons are taught by our lifeguards. Levels start at beginner and run up to a challenging advanced swimmer course where swimmers perfect their strokes, work on endurance, and learn water survival techniques. Class levels may be combined depending on enrollment. Children's classes are for ages 4 and up and the child should be comfortable in the water and must be toilet-trained. Instruction will focus on stroke development, endurance, and water safety. (No sign-ups the day lessons begin).Swim Lesson Cancellation PolicyThe safety of our swimmers is of the utmost importance to us. LPRD Pool Managers reserve the right to cancel swim lessons for any reason that puts the safety of the swimmers at risk. In the case of thunderstorms or other inclement weather, when possible, LPRD staff will notify you via email or text of a cancellation at least an hour before the start of the swim lesson.Swim Lesson Make-upsFor weekday lessons, we have built in a make-up day at the end of each two-week session on the last Friday, should a lesson have been canceled during the current session. For Saturday swim lessons, we have built in a make-up day the Sunday immediately after the last Saturday lesson of the session. NOTE: These will be the only designated times for swim lesson make-ups. Make-ups will only be offered for classes canceled by LPRD staff.
