Tai Chi is a gentle form of exercise that emphasizes deep breathing, slow movements, and the cultivation of chi (energy). It can help improve muscle strength, flexibility, balance, and fitness, and could be the perfect activity for the rest of your life.
The class involves traditional warm-ups and gentle stretching, breathing exercises, stances, and the study of the traditional Yang Style Form.
Wear comfortable clothing and a flat-soled indoor sneaker, a dance shoe, or barefoot.
