Crayola Imagine Arts Academy (Art-ventures for Kids), Grades K-5
Join us for Crayola Imagine Arts Academy, formerly ART-ventures for Kids. Same great instructors, new, innovative programs now in collaboration with Crayola - designed as "Art With Purpose". Crayola Imagine Arts Academy believes that artistic enrichment is a crucial element of a great education! When children learn to appreciate form and color, when they grasp the importance of fashioning their own images of the world around them, they gain greater self-confidence and self-discipline. With our imaginative curricula and inspiring instructors, we encourage creative spirits and imaginations. We nurture creativity and the process of critical thinking, as children experience a variety of art techniques, tools, and original materials. We inspire children to interpret art in their own unique way as they explore artist's styles, art forms, culture and history. We are also very serious about having fun with art!

Mad Science, Grades K-5
Mad Science of Western New England is the leading science enrichment provider in the region. Since 1998, we have delivered unique, hands-on science experiences for children through after-school programs, birthday parties, in-school and on-site kids' workshops, summer programming and special events such as stage shows and hands-on discovery centers. We provide our unique "edutainment" in Western and Central MA, Northern CT and Southern VT & NH. Our mission is to inspire children through science, sparking lifelong imagination and curiosity.

Splish Splash Art Blast
This inspiring week of art-ventures sparks creativity, engagement, exploration and individual expression. Learn about the fascinating underwater world of seahorses, sea turtles and other wonderful creatures while exploring original art forms and techniques. Design beach hats, sunglasses, and T-shirts. Create ocean slime and discover the art of mosaics while creating seashell boxes. Sculpt shimmery coral and goofy clay octopuses. Paint ceramic fish banks, and design ocean creature stuffed animals. Experience painting, printmaking, stained glass, ceramics, collage, mosaics, fabric art and working with clay. 

Rockin Rockets
Children will step into the shoes of a rocket scientist and learn the fundamentals of flight, propulsion, and rocket design. We'll have fun exploring astronomy and trying out various flight designs from hot air balloons to hovercrafts (and many more!) We'll launch a real model rocket every day and kids will build and take home their own Mad Science model rocket.

Crazy Chemworks
We'll learn about the tools scientists use in their laboratories, as well as atoms, molecules and reactions, acids and bases, fluorescence, and phosphorescence.  We'll also examine and investigate super sticky things by exploring suction, hydrogen bonding and static cling.  We'll also see some very cool dry ice demonstrations!  Continue the science at home with fun lab wear take-homes and experiments.  

NASA Space & Beyond
Children explore space and engineering using LEGO® bricks in this fun full day program from Mad Science! Space - experience our program co-designed by NASA and Mad Science! From our Earth’s atmosphere to the outer reaches of our solar system, this hands-on program sends children on a quest for exploration! Comets, planets, stars and more are all waiting to be discovered. Explore the farthest reaches of our solar system and create a lunar eclipse in this “mad” planetary tour! Learn about the four forces of flight and the challenges of space travel, build your very own rocket to take home and participate in an awesome rocket launch!

Crayola Imagine Arts Academy Building Wonders
Throughout history, humans have created some incredible wonders. Go on a journey through time and discover the impressive – and sometimes mysterious – wonders of the world like the Pyramids of Egypt, Easter Island, The Great Wall of China and many more. We'll guide children to build their skills, their creativity, and their sense of wonder.
