6:00 PM - 8:30 PM    Acting/Scene Study Class, Ages 10-16 - Acting/Scene Study Class, Ages 10-16, session 1
This acting class is a fun, energetic class that will consist of scene work with other students, monologue work, cold reads and acting lessons that will ultimately enhance all of the students acting skill sets, all while having fun. The class will be taught by Kevin McCormick, who is an accomplished television and film actor. The class is for students of all levels, from beginners who are excited to learn more about acting all the way up to students who have prior acting experience. This class will definitely add to each student's "acting toolbox".Kevin McCormick is an accomplished television and film actor who has had recurring roles in the television shows CITY ON A HILL, GOTHAM and NYC 22 and guest star roles on the television shows CHICAGO PD, BLUE BLOODS, THE LAST OG and HOSTAGES amongst others. Kevin has also had strong movie roles in the films SPENSER CONFIDENTIAL and I CARE A LOT. Kevin spent 15 years in education as a teacher and an assistant principal before resigning to pursue his acting career full time.

5:00 PM - 6:00 PM    Food Explorers Youth Programs, Grades 2-6 - Desserts Around the World, Grades 2-5
Exploring food encourages children to learn through sensory experiences, hands-on activities and working together to create delicious results. Children will have the freedom to explore thanks to our unique "food neutral" approach to teaching about food. Holiday Camp, Grades 3-6: Calling all food-loving kids! This hands-on half-day cooking camp is perfect for aspiring chefs who are ready to take their kitchen skills to the next level. Campers will create two recipes from scratch; Sugar Cookie Trifles and Tacos with Homemade Tortillas. Your chef will learn real cooking techniques, kitchen safety, and the science behind the food they make. With guidance from experienced instructors, kids will build confidence, explore new flavors, and enjoy the fun of preparing their own culinary creations. No prior experience needed—just an appetite for learning and fun! All recipes are nut-free and vegetarian but will contain dairy, eggs, and gluten.Desserts Around the World, Grades 2-5: Desserts Around the World:  Get ready for a delicious journey with Food Explorers!  In this hands on dessert class for kids, young chefs will explore flavors and treats from across the globe- no passport required!  Along the way, kids will learn basic baking techniques and explore new ingredients.  You'll be making: Black Forest Cupcakes, Banoffee Pies, Scotch Pancakes, and Mini Matcha Donuts.  All recipes are nut-free and vegetarian but will contain dairy, eggs, and gluten.  No class 3/11/26.Spring Desserts, Grades 2-5: Spring Desserts:  Celebrate the season with fresh, fruity, and fun desserts!  In this hands on cooking class, kids will create spring inspired sweets like Raspberry Cheesecake Pies, Lemon Sugar Cookie Trifles, Apricot Croissant Bites and Peach Melba Crumbles.  All recipes are nut-free and vegetarian but will contain dairy, eggs and gluten.
